It's interesting how funny I find things that, from an objective standpoint, aren't good for me at all. Why do people want so eagerly to believe in conspiracy theories? There are two reasons. Firstly, the existence of a Master Plan means that there is some purpose, some reason to be. Secondly, the existence of some Great Hidden Council means that I (or you or whomever) am not responsible for things. Conspiracy is merely a way to deflect responsibility.

Dream a Little Dream of What?

I don't dream. Well, that's not quite accurate. I very rarely dream, something like once every two months on average. You'll probably say no, I do dream, that I just don't remember it, but I think otherwise. I've had dreams and not remembered them. Most of the time, however, I wake up with only a sensation of lost time. That's okay, though; I've lived largely without dreams, so I'm used to not having them. What gets to me, though, is when I do dream, and remember it, but never realize that it wasn't real. I have gone years, nearly a decade in one case, without realizing that certain events never actually happened. It really makes you wonder. How much of my life is no more than a complex scenario of dreams?

I'm looking to experiment with mapping/modding/whatever. What is a good, easy editor/engine to learn? The options I presently have access to are:

CryENGINE2 - Sandbox2
Unreal Engine 3 - UnrealEd
Source - Hammer

In the event that something else would be a better option (e.g. id Tech 4 and DOOMEdit), do let me know, as I may be able to pick it up somewhere.
